About Snakkna

Snakkna was created with the mission of making language learning more accessible, practical, and affordable. I believe that learning a new language doesn't have to be complicated (or expensive): with clear content, everyday examples, and materials designed for different levels, anyone can progress at their own pace.

The name Snakkna comes from the combination of two Norwegian words: snakk (“speak,” the imperative of the verb å snakke) and (“now”). In other words, “Snakkna” literally means “speak now.” This idea perfectly reflects the spirit of the site: encouraging you to start using the language right away, without waiting for the “right moment.”

The goal is simple: to help you learn a new language, open doors, and discover new cultures. Whether for studying abroad, work, or curiosity, Snakkna is here to support your journey toward fluency!

  • - Educational articles and posts on grammar, vocabulary, expressions, and structures;
  • - An interactive space: users who create an account can comment and exchange ideas with other learners;
  • - Affordable ebooks and courses to help deepen your studies and build confidence without spending much;
  • - Knowledge sharing: six months after release, all ebooks and courses are made available for free under a Creative Commons license, so learning can circulate freely and at no cost.

For now, only English, French, and Portuguese; soon, Norwegian (Bokmål), Polish, and Spanish will be added.
